This is hilarious. What better way to trash the public perception of a premium brand name by making crappy offshoots of that brand?

There’s a reason you don’t see ‘Gucci, by Target’ or ‘Hugo Boss, by K-mart’. Your brand will always equate to the lowest common denominator of what you sell under it.

Justifying it by labeling it VAIO ‘division two’ will make exactly zero difference. All people will see is VAIO = a crap product.
